About this event
Powering the Islands through Solar and Battery Storage is a technical workshop focused on advancing reliable, affordable, and sustainable electricity solutions for the Philippines’ island and off-grid communities. The event will bring together government agencies, industry stakeholders, electric cooperatives, project developers, and technology providers to discuss practical pathways for integrating solar photovoltaic (PV) generation and battery energy storage systems into island power systems.
The discussions will cover government policies and programs, hybrid solar–battery–diesel systems, international and Philippine project experiences, financing and implementation challenges, and opportunities for future collaboration.
