2025 Global New Energy ESG Top 100 Has Successfully Held, Tongwei, GCL, Ancai Hi-Tech and Other Enterprises Lead the List

On June 11, 2025, during SNEC PV&ES 18th (2025) International Photovoltaic Power Generation and Smart Energy & Energy Storage and Battery Technology and Equipment Conference, the "Global New Energy ESG Top 100" award ceremony, jointly organized by the Global Green Energy Industry Council (GGEIC), the New Energy Industry Association for Asia and the Pacific (NEIAAP), and the Asian Photovoltaic Industry Association (APVIA) , was grandly held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai). This activity aims to recognize and encourage outstanding enterprises in the global new energy sector in terms of environmental, social, and corporate governance, promoting sustainable development in the industry.

In this selection, many Chinese new energy enterprises were successfully selected due to their excellent ESG practices, demonstrating the leading role of Chinese enterprises in the global green transition. Some of the awarded enterprises include:

Tongwei
Integrated photovoltaic power generation with modern fisheries, pioneering the global "Fishery-PV Integration" model, achieving a integrated achievements in fishery, power generation, and environmental protection, and realizing efficient and comprehensive land resource utilization. Implemented ESG management for upstream and downstream enterprises in the supply chain, promoting sustainable development of the supply chain.

GCL
Through its self-developed integrated energy management platform - "Xinyilian", it has achieved intelligent operation of wind-solar-storage-charging integration. As of 2024, it achieved a total carbon reduction of 55.8564 million tons, saving 22.4098 million tons of standard coal, equivalent to planting 30.4727 million trees. Additionally, it used intelligent robots to clean photovoltaic modules, saving water resources and improving efficiency by approximately 50%.

Ancai Hi-Tech
Built a full-chain low-carbon system, it promoted green factory construction and clean energy application, and achieved refined management of pollutants. At the same time, the company promoted rural revitalization through industrial linkage and strengthened its ESG governance framework.

SolaX Power
Outstanding in the field of optical storage systems and intelligent manufacturing. In 2024, the total greenhouse gas emissions were controlled within 800,000 tons of carbon equivalent, and the self-sufficiency of green power exceeded 2.01 million kilowatt-hours. Its "Future Factory" was selected as a key demonstration project in Zhejiang Province.

Industry Outlook: ESG Becomes a Core Competitiveness for New Energy Enterprises

With the global advancement of the "dual carbon" goals, ESG has become a key indicator for measuring the long-term value of enterprises. The listed enterprises in this activity have not only achieved commercial success but also set a benchmark for global energy transformation through technological innovation, green supply chain management, and social responsibility practices. In the future, the new energy industry will continue to deepen ESG governance, promote broader industrial collaboration, and jointly move towards a zero-carbon future.
